Review – Star Wars Smuggler’s Bounty: Cantina
Ever wondered if there was any way to fulfill your craving for Star Wars swag? How about having exclusive items from the franchise delivered to your door? Look no further, Smuggler’s Bounty is here!
For those of you not familiar with the Smuggler’s Bounty subscription, here’s the 4-11:
Subscription box in collaboration with Funko, sent out every 2 months.
Each box contains exclusive Star Wars merchandise, including 2 Pop! figures.
Ships within the US and internationally.
The theme for March’s box was Cantina, which is the 3rd box in the series since its release late last year. Let’s check out what I received!
Red Snaggletooth Pop! Figure – This was 1 of 2 colors available for this figure. The other is a blue chase variant, which was included in every 1 of 5 boxes shipped.
Ben Kenobi Pop! Figure – I had wondered if they would eventually make a figure in his likeness. It was very nice to find this in the box.
Greedo patch – Love how the patches in this subscription are nicely detailed. I’ve been keeping all of them aside since I’m not sure where I’d like to place them. Maybe some type of sash a la Russell from Up? We’ll see…
Nalan Cheel pin – The theme of this box would have been nothing but a dud if they didn’t include something, anything, that had at least one of the members of the Cantina band (BKA Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes). Hearing that theme song will never get old.
Chewbacca Pop! Pen – It’s Chewbacca. On a pen. Doesn’t get cooler (or cuter) than that. It would have been even better if he were flocked. Still a great item nonetheless.
Han Solo Wanted tee – This design was 1 of 4 that were featured in the box. I definitely lucked out with this one. Do I love it? Heck yes, and I’m sure he knows.
Yet another awesome box from Smuggler’s Bounty. It’s a bit difficult to be disappointed by what they send, especially if you’re a Star Wars fan. Check out their website to see what was featured in past boxes. Stay tuned for my thoughts on their Bounty Hunters box!
